The Maryland Basketball Officials Association is a non-profit organization established in 1996.
MBOA is dedicated to providing experienced and quality referees to schools, recreational leagues
and colleges.
At the present time we have over 200 officials and in 2006 we provided officials for over 8,000 games for a total of over 15,000 assignments.
The areas of service are mainly in, but not limited to, Anne Arundel County, Calvert County,
Charles County, the District of Columbia,
Howard County, Montgomery County, Northern Virginia, Prince George's
County
and St. Mary's County.

We will be holding an official's camp this year on June 12th, 13th and 14th.
It is held in conjuction with the Naval Academy's high school team camp.
The camp is at the United States Naval Academy located in Annapolis Maryland.
